A former Vice President in Global Marketing at AstraZeneca (AZ), Mike is a seasoned executive leader with deep experience in the development and commercialization of new products. He is an acknowledged brand troubleshooter within the biopharmaceuticals sector, acting as a catalyst for creating innovative corporate and commercialization strategies across the brand life cycle.
He now serves as Managing Partner of Eyecatcher Biopharma, a consulting company focused on advising clients on investment, commercialization, and development strategies. His client list includes many US and EU based early-stage Biotech and Medtech companies, particularly in oncology, Alzheimer’s disease, infectious diseases, and neuroscience therapy areas.
Mike has held US and Global roles of increasing seniority at leading pharmaceutical companies, including AZ and Sanofi, formerly Aventis. He has led the Infection and Neuroscience therapeutic areas within Global Marketing and held P&L responsibility for a $1.5Bn US Oncology franchise whilst at AZ. He also has extensive partnering experience and success working with both Biotech, Medtech and big Pharma.
Born in London, Mike has a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Sheffield, UK, and a postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, also in the UK.
